Tsukasa wrote:the only way i could think of a head mod idea working is like this: some way its made so if there's no mod on, the first one to coome on becomes head mod, and if they leave, it changes to a different mod, that way we would have one, but not worry about that 1 person not being on

I'd hate to be the one to try and program something like that
Actualy, that'd be pretty simple really. Its just a matter of taking the entire mod group, and checking to see if you're the only one online. If you are, then you get special permissions enabled for that session. When you close the window/tab/disconnect from the site, you'd have those privileges taken away.
AT least, thats how I'D program it... <,<

Currently what I've been trying to bring up is a three piece Head Mod. So, moreso a headmod group, that for any decisions to take place, it'd have to be consented by all three people. Thats just another idea though...

Not to beat a dead horse, but I just wanted to comment saying that we have considered balances of power (i.e. if a head mod/tribunal did have the power to suspend, then it would not be infinete, just a certain amount of time until the webmaster has had time to review the case).

This horse has been dead for a very very long time. Given since AA has little traffic, I see no reason for such a thing as a head mod. Not at this time.

I felt like a race horse in a world without racetracks or a champion college footballer suddenly confronted by Wall Street and a business suit, his days of glory shrunk to a little gold cup on his mantel with a date engraved on it like a tombstone.
