Forgotten Lance: The Castle that Time Forgot

(I have never said that my character will not get hurt, it was just a warning that it will not be easy. I have never, during the course of this RP controlled your character, but I am allowed to disarm you if you point your sword in my face. The reason I threw it into the wall is to stop you from doing that again, so I can hardly consider that godmodding, thank you )

- Ethryl, chap, I do not think my import is needed now - said Oswald as the Halfling said his words.

[[you're full of [censored], you're not allowed to disarm a character, you're supposed leave that option open so the character, if need be, will allow his/her weapon or whatever to to be removed or he/she will keep it. Ethryl noticed he magically appeared out of nowhere near the castle. "Well that was a shitload of fun. I wasn't even near that [censored] and I ended up next to this shithole." He turned to the Halfling. "So you're attempt here is to kill us all and go and for more people to kill? You're not looking for this stupid thing in this dumb castle anymore, no now you're just controlling the population." Ethryl laughed and whistled for his dragon. She swooped down, picked him up quickly, and flew over the castle wall. "Well you [censored] have fun getting in, I'll go shopping for Orc heads."

When the dragon flew in, Oswald's hat fell down. He picked it up.

- A nice specimen - he said looking at the dragon.

He looked at the halfling again.

- So, chap, what now? - he asked

[[I'm not trying to kill you, but you're not invisible. Cause if you are, I am too, and we'll have one hell of a time.]]

Nia waited outside with the rest of them, "[censored] it Ethryl. So how do the rest of you plan to get in?" Nia removed the collar from her neck and went into the forest to change her outfit. [[Outfit #2]] As Nia came back she put her hair into a high stretched pony. "Well I'm ready." Putting the dual short swords into the sheathes on the belt around her waist, she reached around to feel if the dual katanas on her back were still in place. She walked over to Oswald and put her hands on her hips. "So, it seems that you and my brother don't get along well. Really, he's not that bad of a guy, he just gets annoyed easily." She shrugged her shoulders and hugged the short stocky man briefly as if he needed it.

- Sadly, that is not my problem - he said as she let him go. He looked at her. He did not know why she hugged him, but he had not wanted to object. Nia was a pretty girl and he did not want to cause more unnecessary problems.

He looked at Ethryl and the dragon and Nia. ''How can he treat her like that?'', he wondered.

- This bag contains a lot of devices we can possibly use to get there. If no one has a better idea, I shall try them out - sad Oswald.

He looked at Nia again, but he only sighed. He then turned to the others.

Nia noticed that Oswald was periodically looking at her. She thought that maybe he was phased by her hugs as she decided instantly it was best to tell him why. "Oswald, I'm sorry if that hug was...I dunno, awkward for you at all, but I do that from time to time. Hugs just seem to make the world right, and you almost seemed like you needed one. Or at least from what I saw." She giggled cutely and smiled returning back to what he just recently said. "I'm sure something in that bag of yours will turn to be quite useful."

Dream sat on the castle wall as Ethryl leaned over her side. "So, having difficulties figuring out how to get in? That door isn't your only problem." Ethryl said sighing. "There's an army of Orcs and Mages, a wall of spikes, and a few other miscellaneous traps. Be careful everyone. And yes, Oswald, you be careful to, sweetheart." He laughed. "I'm going down to their horse stalls to drop off Dream, then I'll be going down to the dungeon."

Nia looked at him strangely, "Have you been here before, Ethryl?"

Ethryl sighed, "Yeah, I've been here before. Strangely the love me."

- Nah, forget that about the hug. It did not seem awkward, just unexpected - he said.

He then put his bag down and opened it. He put his head inside and started searching for something. Well, that something was an umbrella. All the things he had in the bag were only umbrellas. He took one out and looked at it strangely.

- This is just an ordinary umbrella, nice - he said returning it.

He scavanged a little more and took 5 umbrellas out. One of them had a sipral on it. It was his ''Hypnosis-umbrella''. One of them was made from solid steel, resistent to any kind of blows, bullets and fire. This was his ''Defense-umbrella''. One of them, his ''Shotgun-umbrella'', was a shotgun transformed to look lika an ordinary umbrella. One of them, with a big button, the ''Hammer-umbrella'' had the function to eject a large and hard hammer from its top that an be used in a variety of ways. The las one he took out seemed ordinary. Like the one he held in his hand. But, like the ''Sword-umbrella'' he held with him all the time, the other one also had a special usage. It was his ''Laser-umbrella''. It had the ability to fire a strong proton laser that could cut through anything, even his ''Defense-umbrella'' and could kill anyone in seconds. It fired the same type of beam as the strongest laser to date fired. He layed them down in front of him and explained the lot what they were for.

- Now, I have layed the groundworks onto you. Your job is to choose them, if you want of course, and to help all of us to get inside. Now remember, as I have told Ethryl, I do not like when someone dictates me, therefore, my chaps, I am not ordering you to do anything. I gave you an option which we can use to get inside. If you can think of a better one, be my guests - said Oswald to the group

Nia look at each of the umbrellas strangely and replied, "we'll I would suggest either the hypnosis 'brella or the laser 'brella. Hypnosis for those who come out of that door to see what all the hub-bub is about or the Laser 'brella to just blast a [censored] hole in the door." She smiled and then laughed again.

Ethryl went up to the army of Orcs and Mage and instructed them to move away from the door and resume their normal routines elsewhere. "Well at least that bullshit's out of the way. But all these traps are still in place and there's nothing i can do about that."

Khalbren sighs and move up to the gate.... Withdrawing the brick he slide it into place in a gaping hole off to the side. With a click the gates pop open as the halfling pulls them wide, "Well that's it for me... someone else will meet you all inside."

Turning he walks in disappearing past the gates. It remains quiet for some time before another voice calls out, "Well come on in! The castle isn't going to beat itself!"

- It seems that we shall not need them for now, but you can never be to careful - said Oswald picking his umbrellas up.

He started limping to the castle.

- Oh, if anyone wants an umbrella, just ask - he added

[Aiden]

Nia followed Oswald and didn't think to wait for the others. "See, I'm only following you in here because I don't wanna get killed. You're a keen man."

Ethryl avoided the traps and stood near the door, "Psh. Haha you guys are going to fail. Easy as that. Nia, sis, I don't want you dead...you should just stick near me."

Nia saw Ethryl and replied, "Nah, I don't think so Ethy. I'll stay with this man here. He's nice and seems to know what he's doing. Besides I want a challenge, not an easy exit."

Ryin was a abit confused and annoyed by the two guys always agruing but, he knew to keep his distance from Ethryl until he calms down. Or when he comes to him in his free well.

Ryin fallow Ethryl and Nia close but, not to close to them either.

Oswald looked at Nia again. ''She jus stood up to him'', he thought.

- Now, let us see the first trap - he said.

He looked at the big passade in front of them. He was careful so he took a coin he had in his pocket and threw it on the ground in the passage. Suddenly, two giant pendulums coudl be seen in the passage.

- Hmmm... a classic pendulum trap. Interesting. But I have a solution - he said

He took his ''Defense-umbrella'' and his ''Laser-umbrella''.

- Now, since the pendulums reach the floor, I shall open the ''Defense-umbrella'' and throw it donw so that I will block a pendulum when it swings on the other side. Then, I shall cut it on the top with the ''Laser-umbrella'' and then repeat everything with the second one. The only thing I will need help with is the second one. I will need for sometone to be fast enough to throw the umbrella on the second position when I cut the first pendulum. Any volunteers? - Oswald asked

Nia stood there with her hands on her hips as Ethryl walked away. "hmph. He doesn't know when to stop bossing me around."

Ethryl went to go see his dragon.

Oswald looked at her with a smile and then turned:

- No one wants to help me ? - he asked

Ryin stay at the distance not wanting to talk to anyone. He look at the sky and a major pain came to his head. Ryin jump and yell at the pain it was so strong.
