Does anyone have a favorite?
I am currently listening to the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon OST. This did introduce me to the composer Tan Dun, whose work I have very much enjoyed since discovering it.
Of course I don't just mean classical music. Any OST - regards of the film medium it is used in.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles OST and "Roar of the Earth" (Shadow of the Colossus) are my two favorites right now.

Eternal Sonata's soundtrack of Chopin is elegantly moving. But, to be honest, I believe you can't go too far wrong with music that's composed by Harry Gregson Williams (Enemy Of the State, The Rock, Metal Gear Solid's 2, 3 and I think 4) or Nobou Uematsu's earlier compositions.
But let's be fair, the movie "Ray," in my opinion, has the greatest soundtrack in any film to date.
