Audioslave, or Soundgarden?

Post by Gaming Goddess »

I got into an argument with my boyfriend about this, like... 2 hours ago. He claims that Audioslave sounds 'tighter' (why am I dating him?), and that Soundgarden had good ideas, but couldn't properly execute them. While I will admit Soundgarden sounds rawer, they have more power than Audioslave could hope for.

Your thoughts?

<.< I own Out of Exile, and I've never really listened to Sound Garden, which prompted me to youtube a song. I found Burden in my Hand, and I'd have to say I like it a lot more than most of the songs on Out of Exile.

After I did that, I had to figure out who Chris Cornell was and decided the last option was pretty awesome.

I have Out of Exile too, it's decent but ... yeah, it really doesn't hold up the same.

Good choice with the sexy beast thing too. ;]

I've never listened to Audioslave, but I've liked what I've heard from Soundgarden.

My point to posting this:

YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?!?!?

Hmm... Well as much as I do love Audioslave, they're too mellow sometimes, and his voice is really raw sounding..or like raspy or something..

I do love Soundgarden, but I don't listen to them as much as I do Audioslave..

So as for one or the other. I can't exactly choose as I like both.
EDIT: that shiit ain't gucci..

On topic though, from what I've heard of Soundgarden and audioslave I'd have to say I like soundgarden's stuff a bit more. Hard to choose though, cause, well, I don't listen to them bunches XD
