Why is it called Yu Yu Hakusho?

Yuyu Hakusho actually means "playful ghost white paper" or something like that. However, it's translated as Ghost Files or Poltergeist Report. White paper is a term used for a report or something like that. It's a really good name since the whole show is sort of supernatrual.

the literal translation of yuyu hakusho is poltergeist report (i know is for a fact). but here its called ghost files

I agree literal translation is poltergeist report. As someone said it is playful ghost(Poltergeist) white paper(refers to reports) she/he who said that gets 20 points, 2 tapioca points(Those are hard to get you know) and a cookie.
