I recently got FLCL (aka "Fooly Cooly" aka "Furi Kuri"), and watched the first two episodes one night, and the other four in a row the night after.
I liked it a lot, it's funny, strange, surreal, all in one.
And all the references in it (jokes about south park, initial d, evangelion, and lots of others) made me laugh hard.

I'm currently watching Last Exile, i'm on episode 18. Only 8 more. Can't wait to see the end.

BTW, DarkLilly, how would you rate these two?
So i can get a better perspective on your evaluations of other series.

Lase Exile is one of my favorites. For me it is a 9.5+

FLCL is a matter of taste. If it suits your kind of humor then it's right up there. If it isn't your style then it isn't worth the time. I caught a few episodes on Adult Swim and didn't care much for it. For me it is a 4.5. Your mileage may vary.

I've been watching record of lodoss war over the past couple of weeks and can't really form and opinion. Some things make me like it, some not so much.

Well my most recent viewing was the Kiddy Grade series. I went on Ebay and bought the entire series and sat down and watched it in two days. I will have to say that everyone is right about how the first 8 episodes are kinda dull and then the series gets better. I'am also wondering if anyone has on information on the series or if it will have a second season I just couldn't stop watching it thats why I got through the series in two days.

Complex, disturbing, mature (reminds me a little of Paranoia Agent)

Outlaw Star : 9.5/10
Rurouni Kenshin: Samurai X : 10/10

Outlaw Star... One of my favorite series; well scripted and I like the music. My main beef is that the ending doesn't seem to quite make sense and one of the enemies (Ron McDougall) escapes without explanation.

Borrowed Samurai X... That thing is a masterpiece. Made me want to cry at the end of Reflections there. It's like two full-featured movies. Now I want to see the TV series, heh.
