i saw napolean dynamite. my friends were telling me how funny it was, then i watched it and i thought it was the most boring and pointless movie i had ever seen.

I agree with Kronik and Delancey. Napoleon Dynamite is a movie that is just great in the sense that its stupididty and pointlessness is great. "I caught you a delicious bass." That line, when said from the mouth of a complete dork can really crack you up. The director was actually mormon, so he was trying to make a movie funny without using profanity and sexuality, which he more than acheived. you have to have respect for that.

O ya, they're not making Napoleon 2. that was a rumor and it would be stupid anyway.

Seriously, the movie has no plot. Okay...a movie doesn't have to have a plot if it makes up for it in style...i agree. But it doesn't have that either. Okay, that's cool...maybe the acting and the jokes are great. Nope. The movie sucked. Other people like it because they're supposed to.

this movie was basicially about nothing it was just a life of a guy name Napleon which was funnie
