Ravenloft (Gothic Fantasy) RP Ch. V "Labarinth"

Two half-dead creatures emoerged, one was horribly deforemed and had a crooked back, he was holding a massive sword and had a book strapped tohis side. The other seemed to be a woman, however through the ancient flesh it was difficult to tell. It had a massive tome by its sidea nd began uttering strange words as a huge ball of fire emoerged and struck out twards Lazuli exploding just before it hit her. The other undead creatures seemed to change direction and advanced in the direction Lobo had headed with the girl.

Lazuli watched as it seemed they looked almost like humans. She watched with one eye as one og them was making weird signs. Slashing at another thing, she remembered what happened. The pain it had caused her, what it did the wood...

With another fatal slash, she missed it coming, she wasn't ready. A large ball of fire came hurtaling at her. She stopped what she was doing, didn't even care about the oncoming thing. Her eyes widended as it came closer to her. She watched as was almost close enough for her to reach out and touch it. Knowing it could nad will cause her harm, she looked back saw a bunch og them.

With on quick leap, she was in a tree. She almost missed being nurned, but then it exploded. It caught her bakc legs and tail as she scrambled on the branch. The rest of it had hit the things below. She felt the hot emberns burn and char her skin. Singing the fur around, she had little black spots now.

Shoving the pain to the back of her mind, she had things to kill. Jumping down, she hit tow flat on their butts with her leggs. Jumping on more, she began the slashing and kicking as blood specked her fur once more. It was disgusting and foul what was happening in her wood. but she must fight for the wood may depend on it...

"She doesn't seem to like my fire" the somanlike creature said almost laughingly "Maybe she would like your magic better?"

The wisted creature let out a gruff grunt and began to make almost moaning words as he drageed his sword through the air, he began to grow to twice his size, his arms and legs also contined, his muscles also doubbled in size and became thinner and lakeryer as well. He hten with startling adjility ruck out at lazuli with his now massive sword.

Noticing the fast growing thing, she put her head up from smashing two skulls together with her claws in each of their heads. She looked up to see the point of the sowrd staring right at her.

She didn't understand magics at all, how the fire came, how the man grew. It was all gibberish to her. Looking back at the sowrd, really gripping the situation she was in, she made a couple back flips. Out of the migty swords tip, she started killing more of these things. The scent of that thing from before, it was getting stronger. She found herslef about 5 yards from that vessel of evil from before...

"Let me help you a bit" the female creature said, her tounge growing otu in the form of a large snake and striking at Lazuli, she was still able to speak perfectly as she said "Don't figh those worm-ridden corpses, they'll ignore you, they ahve another job, and fighting them is pointless... and I want to bite you anyway... and he wnats to crush your skull." she said, gesturing to the lumbering man, who struck out with the sword again, bashing apart man of the walking corpses as he struck lazuli on the side of the arm with the blade's flat, and the snake made a quick lunge at her from behind.

She heard the voice behind her, just as she was about to turn around, the other's sword had hit her left arm. It didn't cut, but she heard a low crack.
***This can't be good. This just keeps getting worse...***
She thought as she felt the pain from it's blow. She heard the thing behind her talk about biting her. Remembering that, she swayed to the right, only she wasn't quick enough. The thing had taken a bite into her left side.
"What... what is it you... you wat with me...?"
She asked them both between wheezes. She was in alot of a pain right now.

Still not understanding why everything seems to be after her all of a sudden is getting to her.
***What is up with all these poeple out to hurt me... I never bother with others, I don't even know them. How could I have huty whom I do not know... this makes no sence...***
She thought closing her eyes to the pain from her left side. From the bite, she could feel something burning spreading through her...

As the serpent tounge vanished the female creature said "And now you are finished." And with that she spoke a mysteious word directed specificaly at Lazuli and it caused an incredible feeling of irrisistable tiredness to flow into Lazuli.

Lazuli heard her say she was finished finished with what she couldn't tell. She just felt the burning of something that came from the bite. Beginning to feel the effects of her spell. She got one last thing out,
"What... what do you... you want with.... with me..."
She asked thme both. All that had happened was out of her control, she didn't understand what she had done. With that last thing, she fell to the ground. With a lound thud, she had fully fell. Spralled out on her stomach, she could bairly keep her eyes open. Being so confused, what ever that thing did to her, it seemed to be wroking. With one last flutter of her eye lids, she was out cold in the middle of battle...

Lobo Snarled as he struk down on a creature's head blood coming out of its rotting face. Since the creatures arrived they seemed to have a very defined purpose to go after Lobo. Luckily that girl knew how to use that sword not very well but she knew how to use it. She would often miss and stumble from the awkward weight of the sword. Whenever this happened Lobo would intercept any of those creatures that got to close to her with deadly slashes. Lobo found it strange how easyily the creatures rotting flesh tore relasing cold blood onto his hand. With a forceful punch sending a creature flying back blood spraying from its deformed face Lobo shot out to the girl. "Go! Go now you're no warrior you'll die if you stay here!" Lobo said this to the girl as fast as he could then leapt back into the fray and much to Lobo's dismay she just gripped the sword tighter and went back into the fray slashing away and the creatures.

slowly as the decaying corpses were being defeated a half-dead creature walked foreward, holding a harp that was made of bones and a short sickle It walked over slwwly, as if unafaid of lobo's strikes, and indeed as the girl struck off the creature's head as it approached her, it fell and vanished, slowly reforming holding only the harp in one hand where she fell with nothing else in its posession. It had the figure of a female but it was also rotted and decayed, almost appearing millenia old. The female creature bent down to retreive her scythe as the girl stood frozen in fear.

Lobo contiuned to strike at the creatures. Until though the seemingly never ending army a female he thought at least that it was female come through the hordes but as it approached he could see how truly deformed it was. Lobo saw the girl strike out with her brother's sword decapiting it however after reforming it was completly unharmed and reached to retrive its sychthe he relaized this was not an ordaniry creature. "Stand back" He yelled outjumping out from the decaying bodies that were surronding him steping on there former allies to surrond him. Snarling Lobo struck down on the creature's hand it fell off eaisly and as soon as Lobo's first foot touched the ground he jumped up and kicked the creature square in the chest with both feet. This sended Lobo backwards and he landed on his back. As the creatures started to surrond him again the girl struck out decapiting them. we can't hold them off if they keep coming like this

The female stood up again and made a gesture as if dismissing the horde, and they stopped advancing. She then moved slowly twards the pair, starting to play her harp and sing in a deathly yet beautiful voice, that carried nearly hypnotic quiality.
"The wings of death came down for me nad I gave my soul to them. My life burns on in servituede of my mistress. Daugheter of a great lord ruler of undeah. She shal come to me and break a curse of life."

were the lyrics of the song. She then continued on with a much darker tone of voice however it was chillingly ever more beautiful.
"The wolf grows weak and helpless as I take the mistress along. I will take the wolf as well, and he will follow. In pain or fear he will come, as will the misterss."

As the woman began singing her enchatingly beatufuly song Lobo tried to block it out. It was working until the second verse started He felt himself losing way. The shadow fang katana was also glowing it was glowing night sky black as if assiting her song. Lobo had that feeling again as if he was losing himself the feeling he had when the arc hit him and when he had taken out those bandits. It also felt like there was ice in his viens and it was creeping though him freezing him over. The last image he saw was the girl walking towards the spectre then he slipped into darkness. Whats..going..on He thought despratly feeling himself moving towards something.

The woman started to sing an a strange language and great pains of lethargy(Weak and tiredness) creapt through lobo almost irrisistably.

The shadow fang katana was now producing a black aura that completely covered its scabbard. Whats....going.....on Was Lobo's last thought before he had sucomb to the spectre's power and lost consiocness

Lazuli began to awaken, her vision fuzzy and her senses weak. In spite of this she could feel something cold under her body and back, and somethign heavier wrapped around her arms.

Lobo began to stir as well feeling the cold beneath his body and a thick band around his neck.

A chuckling could be heared inthe distance of a strange woman, it was definately a female voice but it had a strange gutteral tone.
