Ravenloft (Gothic Fantasy) RP Ch. V "Labarinth"

Suddenly the hallway ended in an area that appeared to be Lazuli's forest, however the moaning continued from where she stood.

The creature fell and anotehr passage opened into what appeared to be Lazuli's forest. and a dreadful roar could be heared coming from the center of it.

Lobo looked at the creature surprised. Is that it is it really dead. Oh well right now there are much more important matters. Like what that roar was, and why that forest looks like the one where I first met that girl. Guess my answers lie in there either way. I can be free soon enough if thats an illusion that girl wont be able to resist going in it. Especially after that roar. She'll do anything to protect her forest or this illusion. Lobo gave the creature one more glance still not believing how easily he killed it. "Oh well guess I should take this reprieve while I can, and be happy the thing is already dead. All right then I investigate that roar grab the girl and then i'm ott here. I can kill those girls another day." Those last few words were dark sheathing the white fang katana he walked ito the illusion forest.

She then saw it, she almost couldn't believe it. She was home... She took one deep breath as she walked off the stone and onto the moist forest floor. The smells of home, the crisp woodsy smell filled her nostrals, it as something she had been longing to smell ever since she was taken our of there. She loved the feeling of the dirt under her paws. She then opened her eyes after her long dep breath, she remembered it all. As if she had never left for even a moment.

She then took of for a tree. Putting the staff on her back using a near bu vine to hold it in place. Unsheathing her claws, the bark unter them was a senstion she loved. She climbed to the top of the tree and stood on a branch and looked all over her domaoin, her home. She then heard the roar, that didn't seem to matter much, for animals roar and growl all the time. Just being home and not being some shackles or in a place without the walls with all those things trying to hurt her.

She then hopped off to another branch, then to another tree, she kept this up til she was at her pond. As far as she could go up the tree, after letting out a load and trimphant growl, she dove off the branch and landed into the water with a slick and sleak dive. The water passed by her fur and it was amazing. She dove to the botem then pushed up and took another breath. Still fully clothed, she didn't care, for she was home. She then just laid on hr back floating about the pond.

All of a sudden, she heard that moaning again, something or one was introuble. It was in her wood, she had to something. pddling over to the rocks, she pulled her slef back out. Shaked all over for a bit, then hit to teh trees. Her staff still fasinted to her back, she was off, climbing and bounding to other branches and trees. She was following the moaning of the creature in pain...

Lobo walked into the forest. the moist mud sank into the shape of his feet. Lobo was surprised it felt real the whole forest the ground the smell. Everything looked and felt real, but he knew it wasnt it couldnt be outside it was night and when he first saw the sun it was in the same postion it was in now. It had only been a few minuets posiably 3 at the latest 5 minuets ago. A normal person wouldnt be able to tell the difference the minuet changes i the suns postion but Lobo had learned to watch for minuet changes in an area. He could even mark the progess of the sun and this sun was not moving. Maybe that girl noticed maybe shes not in here. With that thought he heard the roar again. Oh right theres that damn roaring I still have to check out but first. Snarling Lobo plunged the white fang katana into the soft moist mud. At first it felt like the mud in an actual forest but the more he plunged in the more it felt like he was trying to cut though obisidon stone. That was all the proof he needed he raised the sword from the fake mud. Not surprisingly the white fang katana didnt have a speck of dirt on it and the hole had dissapered.

Suddenly the creature who was crying stopped and a beautiful woman with a demonic tail and thick leathery wings stood completely naked in front of lazuli, a bear laied dead at her feet, but no wounds appeared on its body. The woman had many deep cuts on her body, which were bleeding a deep crimwson blood.

The roaring lobo was hearing stopped.

She had stopped suddenly in the trees, she caught sight of the woman and the bear. Seeing all the cuts and the deepeth of them, she figured it would have been because the bear was attacking her. She hopped out of the trees, then walked carefully out of the undergrowth into the little path she was on.

She looked at the bear it was dead, yet no fatal wounds and the girls blood was the only one she could smell. Still slwoly and carefully walking out she examined the wounds a bit more closly. They were very deep, very freash and beginning to collect infection. She was finally out of the undergrowth and out in the path. She knew how bad the wounds were, taking off a portion of her clothes, she was going to attempt to clean her wounds.

The woman didn't seem to shy away, yet she wasn't fully human either. After she got the blood to stop flowing, she took the woman and placed her on her back. With her surcurly on her back, she took off with great speed into the trees. She was going to take the girl to the glade.

They finally made it she took the owmn and placed her in the water. Taking her clothing back, she used the water to clense away all the blood from the woman on her clothing and from the womn. She had to get her wounds clean and healing, then she would no longer be Lazuli's poblem.
"You have to wash, your wounds are deep. Wash then you shall heal quicker..."
She told her, then went off after she was fully clean of al her blood.

She left to grab some herbs to mix and put over her cuts. After finding the items she needed she headed back to the glade. She had a little stone morter and pestel like thing for her mixing. Sitting on the rocks she then began to mix the herbs to create a paste to help her wounds heal faster.

Lobo leapt though the trees. Hoping that the reason that thing had stopped roaring was because it was happy from a kill. The girl didnt look like a fool, but if she thinks this is her home than she may not think as clearly as she would elsewhere. Gotta hurry who knows what that thing was or why it stopped ro- He stopped dead thought he was in a small clearing. It reeked of death and that false blood that creature had, but what made him stop was what was in the middle. He stared at the sickle girl with contempt. "What trick have you pulled on her witch. I'm not in the mood for you're games so tell me!." Lobo meant that he was snarling fire burned his eyes. Even through this dark anger welling up inside him he could see that the sun had still not moved. "You know its not a very convincing illusion if the sun doesnt move." Lobo had now cooled down and was staring at her with narrow eyes. She returned his easy going stare with a stare that practilly spit acid at him. Lobo smirked and had his hands ready to draw the white fang katana at any time.

The woman stared at Lobo for a moment, then moved closer fearlesly, and said in an extremely calm, almost romantic tone, "I have lived here for a long time, and this place is my home now."

Lobo watched the girl get closer to him. Her words didn't affect him. Last time one of these creatures tried this trick it worked. Not this time though, and I think I know why. Lobo cast hes eyes to his not surprisingly glowing white fang katana. Soon the girl was but an armslength away. She reached out and put her arms around his shoulders and said in the same seductive tone. "If you want this can be you're home to." Smiling as if he was under her spell and said. "You..." His eyes hardened and his voice went from its relaxed soft tone to his normal voice. Lobo's face shadowed over and he grimaced. "Wish." The girl had almost leaned in for the kiss when he kicked her away. "What did I say no games. I need fresh air or I'm goanna get testy. So tell me where she is before any unnecessary violence has to happen."[edit] Staring at the creature he smelt a disticnt trail of blood. "I'll deal with you later I think I know where she is bye bye." With those words he tore off following the blood trail cafully.

When Lobo finally reached the glade or the edge of it he saw the same girl. Lobo was little surprised and tried to sneak around the glade to kill her while he had a chance. When he thought he was out of reach the girl asked. "Why is that boy hiding in the trees?" Lobo gave a dark glare to the sorcess and walked out of the glade.

Lazuli looked over at the man as he walked out of the woods. She then finished with her mixing and passed the paste over to the girl. SHe was on the girls side where that little tattoo she had gotten was in ful view to her.

She then kept on moving toward the other guy,
"You found your way out too then..."
She told him then walked by once more to make sure she was putting on the paste properly. Then sat in a tree to make sure she got her help and got out of her forest back home to where she belonged...

The girl's illusino vanished and there was only one uninjured girl standing a distance away "It is true that you saw thorugh my deception, however I am still a prioner here like you" she said calmly, " would you help me escape?"

Lobo cast his eyes to the girl and saw her ready to break into tears. Hmm if shes lying I can kill her eaisly so I guess there no harm. Lobo gave the half human girl another sad glance before returning his steeled eyes to the girl. "Fine you can come. But you have to be in the midle this girl who you just inderctly harmed will lead and i'll be in the back. you know just in case you try any more tricks. Ya up for that, theres a hole a little distance away that leads to the door. Alright lets get moving." Lobo kept his eyes on the sorcess mostly cause that girl couldnt be trusted some because he didnt want to look at the downheartened face of the other girl.

As she heard that this was all a trick, she felt sad, angered and used. She just sat in the tree for a moment, diging in her claws deep into it's sinthetic bark, breathing slow and deeply. She was trying to contained her anger, for she has to try and keep a clear head now.

She then hopped off the branch and walked by the two poeple. She never even gave them a thought, let alone a dirty look. She just walked by them and replied,
"This way then..."
She had a coldness in her voice. She felt like killing something or one... She had been so blinded by the feelings of being home her mind was clouded.

She moved deep into the wood, leading them through twists and turns. She was going to the edge of the wood, the one she remembered as leading to the city. Paws clenched in fits, she was so mad she was unsheathing her claws in her curled up paws. They pierced the pads of her paws and the blood dripped in small drops, only she didn't care right now...

The girl complied, however stayed very close to Lobo, as if trying to seduce him in some way, blatantly ignoring lazuli. THe terrain began to change as the illusion faded, they passed into anohter wide hallway which narrowed and then split again.

Lobo saw the girl trying to get close to him. Every time she got too close Lobo would push her ahead. "Dont bother I'm immune to you're tricks so just keep walking." Lobo's eyes were like steel hardned and cold. Eventually they came upon the door. "There it is, and it looks like we only wasted a few hours in there. Luckily." The sun was now rising over the mountains to the east. "Well I'm going you can stay and tear this girl to shreds for decciving you if ya want. In retrospect however all that would do is make you waste time getting home." with thaty Lobo made for the door and his freedom.

Lazuli never even registered what he said, she just walked through the door and took a left. She just kept walking... She had taken a different path then Lobo and could have cared less about the other girl.

She just wanted to get home, to her real home and never leave the forest again. She was now alone in the hall, walking trying to get out and get home... She longed to get home and rest, just stay where everything made sense. She just kept on walking down the halls...
