rofl, hun, Green Day have been around since the late 80's, and their first MAJOR album was Dookies in 1994, with 2 albums before that, Kerplunk and 1039 Smoothed Slappy Hours. After Dookie came Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, Shenanigans, International Superhits, and the popular American Idiot. their fan base increased with American Idiot, making new "fans" who dont branch out to their old songs gimme Nimrod over Idiot anyday
