Well... they tried a suprise attack, but I was ready for them with my SYGoS. Let's just say we shouldn't have to worry about them for a while.

Anyway, I return and I bring with me a new avy! I love it like it was my own child. Look! Hiro just keeps kissing Dai-chan. There he goes again.

& It tests ur actual intelegence, rather than giving u a level, so I got 96%, 'coz i'm kinda a genius. xD

But welcome back! ^^

Ah ha! Allow me to explain to anyone who will listen! Seriously, if you couldn't care less then just work with me because I love those guys and need to create more fans so they will come visit the UK.

So, in my avy are Hiroyuki Takami (brunette) and Daisuke Asakura (blond). Together they are Access or AXS. They first formed in 1991 and became a huge hit in Japan, particularly with fans who loved the homoerotic appeal, although neither have ever stated their sexuality. Dai-chan is rumoured to be gay after saying things like:

"I would never do such a terrible thing to a woman!"

when asked if he had thought about having kids. And, well, just looking at him kind of explains everything. Hiro on the other hand is often described as Dai-sexual. In other words, the only person he is attracted to is Daisuke. Awwwwww.

So, from 1991 to 1995 they had a number of hits and performed some phenomenal live tours. Nevertheless, in 1995 a teary eyed Daisuke anounced in a press conference that Access would be splitting up. The reason for this has never been clarified. All we know is that Dai-chan was very upset about the split and fans were devastated.

However, those who craved for Daisuke to return were not disappointed when around about 1997 his new band Iceman made their debut. Iceman consisted of Daisuke on synthesiser/keyboard, Kenichi Ito on guitar and lead vocalist Michihiro Kuroda and, like Access, were a big hit. Perhaps their most famous song, Shining Collection, was used in the anime adaptation of Gravitation for which Daisuke wrote the majority of the OST.

So Iceman continued for three or so years, selling countless albums and performing live just about everywhere in Japan. But in 2000/2001 Michihiro announced that he wished to persue a solo career and Iceman slowly disintergrated after that, despite never having made the split official.

And so things went quiet again, with Daisuke doing a few bits of solo work here and there, performing in clubs and such. But, in 2002, on a live internet broadcast that was so popular it blew the box, Daisuke announced that Access would be reforming! He said he had always felt a strong connection with Hiro and that they really shouldn't let that go to waste. And they are still going now! YAY!

So, there you have it. My little essay on the life and times of Daisuke Asakura. Amazing huh? Anyway, if you still belive me to be sad and obssesive just watch a few of these vids.

I am so proud of that post. It took me forever. I kept getting distracted and ended up watching the kiss in Scandalous Blue about five times. That just never gets old... a bit like the kiss in my avy.
