_--Spoiler--_
If you have seen the movie of Yu Yu Hakusho then you will know what he looks like or if you look him up on here.
I call him a bat demon. But I have been told he is not.
From what I know, he was Kurama's partner back when he was a youko. They stole a mirror and during their escape the pendant he treasured most broke falling to the ground. He ran back to get it ignoring Kurama's cries saying "I need it!" Just as he's about to pick it up he is shot through with many razor sharp bamboo sticks.
Kurama starts back for him but Kuroune tells him to run and get away so he does. We assume that Kuroune dies.
Even though we only see him here I instatly liked him and the bond he and Kurama seemed to have.
Does anyone else want to see more of him? I know I do.

Kuroune - see or no see?

Ya I think it would be cool to see more of Kuronue. Who told you he wasnt a bat demon? because he is. I own both the movies and the whole series on DVD and on the dvd they have something about Kuronue (cant remember if it was a profile or something else) but it says "Bat Demon". I think that Kuronue should have been put into the series but later on you find out that Yomi was Youko Kurama's old partner, not Kuronue, so he was part of the movie-makers imagination. Anyways they still could'a made him another member of Youko Kurama's Group or something. Oh well n.n

Kuronoe was decent, and better than some of the characters they've had on the movie.

re: Kuroune - see or no see?
You know, I've noticed that Kurama seems to hang around guys with honor codes. Let me think... Kuronue never attacked people from behind, no matter the circumstances. Hiei's honor code is full of complex rules that even I can't fathom, except that he bases all of his relationships on trust. Kuwabara-kun doesn't fight girls, and when he does fight it's always a fair one-on-one.
And after the one brief flashback in which we got to see the real Kuronue, I rather like him.

I agree, too. Also, I like Kuronue. I own the movie and after I saw his part I instantly respected him.
