Re: For iTunes?
I'm not big on the whole iTunes thing so I don't know if this post will help but I'm just going to suggest artists that I think a worth listening to.
KAT-TUN are really big in Japan at the moment so you'll probably be able to find loads of their stuff. But be warned: they really are pop. And VERY sexy.
Also, anything Daisuke Asakura related because... well... he is god. No questions asked.
And by that I mean his solo stuff, access, MADS, Iceman and also artists he produces or used to produce like Kotani Kinya and Sakanoue Yosuke.
And if you're looking for something a bit different Polysics are worth a try. They're a bit more along the punk route but some of their newer stuff is quite poppy and they tour America and the UK so it has a bit of a western influence.
Hope this helps! As you might be able to tell I tend to listen to male artists usually but if you don't like any of these let me know and I'll have a look through my music and see if I can find any others that are worth a try.

Utada Hikaru or Miyavi. They totally rock. But...Miyavi's music alternates between rock, pop, and just plain weird. Ha ha ha. I can recommend some good pop-type songs of his if you like?
