Geez I just fought a really annoying boss!!! >.< The one that you get to fight once you've found Mjrn and stepped out of the weird wood or whatever. That boss took like, forever to defeat since he keept hitting me with his super move which makes me blind, oil, silenced, and so on, and so on -.-' So...Does anyone have any tips on what I should be buying licenses for? I have like every augment I want and I'm abit ahead of the equipment I use. So what should I choose?

Esuna works great against most of those status effects, Well I was level 57 when I went up against that boss so most of those spells missed me. I sugest you max out your board early on.

Hey everyone.

I've just arrived at Raithwall's tomb. Everyone is level 18. My current party is Ashe, Vaan, Basch, and Vossler. Vaan and Basch both have Quickenings.

Now then, I've read that if you can defeat the first demon wall (the optional one), you can get to a chest area. And in that area, there is a change of getting the powerful Demonsbane sword.

This all sounds very appealing to me, and I'd very much like to have that sword. However, I've tried about 4 times, and have only managed to get the wall down about 3/5 of its HP (and thats through initial quickenings.)

After that, I try my best, attacking like crazy. But the wall slows me down with spells like Blind, Sleep, and the cheap Telega. It's not that it defeats me by killing all my characters, it's that I can't beat it in time.

Any suggestions on how to beat the optional demon wall? I'd greatly appreciate your help.

What I did was I equipped water on my character's gambits and that basically was it, I alternately attack, use water and the very handy esuna, I didn't use any quickenings to defeat the wall.

did u come back and fight it later? see, i wanna try beating it first try...

No, I didn't come back. Stock up on items (echo herbs and such..) or equip accesories that are immune to the spells being cast. I was at a higher level than you are when I went against the demon wall though.

You no I find myself asking why I say this over and over again lol, Yes I came back and fought the best at level 27 and kicked his ass, why? because I was much stronger.

Try to level first, after that you will have no issues. I could not find that damn sword any where by the way. LEVEL PEOPLE! Makes life easy and it makes your part into a arse kicking machine.

Raithwalls tomb... hmmm i was level 24+ there... as well i would suggest you should do the following miniquest:
- go take an airship and talk to the head hostess. and help out delivering the Messages to everyone of her 6 sisters...
you recieve a ring that add
6+ - magic resistance
7+ - defense
Regen - Equip

anyway... any one past getting the Treaty blade? i'm still stuck at the top of the tower...i left beecause i was getting pissed off... so i have to reclimb everything

anyway... anyone know the order of the teleports?

Cold, I do level believe me, but I'm going at it first try.

I came really close a little while ago. I used Mist charges and Bacchus Wines to berserk everyone. Got him down to 1/10 of his HP. See, if I beat him, then beat the second wall, I can keep checking the chest down there for Demonsbane. Plus, I can get it multiple times, even though there's only a 20% chance of getting it each time. Still, I can farm it = lotsa gil.

I could not find it, and I mentioned leveling because you can only beat the demon wall 23+ and up, otherwise its a waste of time. If you find that chest let me know because I went down there several time and it was not there, I do know it only apears at random but still I must have went down there like 12 times!
