Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Maya wasn't Kurama's girlfriend! Where did you guys get that one from? As I read it, Maya was a classmate who happened to have a crush on him. After the mess with being kidnapped by Yatsude, plus witnessing a certain fox-turned-human's ability with plants, Kurama used an amnesia-inducing pollen to erase her memories of the incident, not to mention any feelings she may have had for him. He didn't have any romantic interest in her. Which is good; she's WAAAY to young for him. He's over a millennia old, she was barely thirteen at the time - it's not gonna work, unless you pin him as a pedophile...?

On a side note, Mukuro wasn't with Hiei, either. Maybe she had an interest in him (stripping in front of him, hugging him, both while he was knocked out and unable to do anything about it, I might add), but from what I saw in the manga and anime he didn't reciprocate in the least. Besides, she must be a millennia old. How old is Hiei? Three centuries at best, thirteen years at worst? She's old enough to be his mother, or his grandmother, or... EWWWW, I'm grossing myself out just thinking about it! (Not to mention she IS a sort of foster-mother to him.) It makes Mukuro sound like some kind of pervert, and Hiei like a victim of molestation. The thought makes me gag.

As for my favorite pairing of the ones listed - Kuwabara+Yukina. The classic maiden-in-a-tower scenario gets me every time. Not to mention it's... What's the word I'm looking for? Sweet? Funny? Ah, yes... Adorable! I like Yuusuke+Keiko as well, but it's doesn't really have the cuteness factor I'm usually into.

I know that Kurama and Maya weren't a couple. But they were very close to being one. I read several things about the manga and some people said that they were boy friend and girl friend for a short amount of time. So I just put them on. And for Hiei and Mukuro. They are not a couple either, but Mukuro has feelings for Hiei, so that's why I put them on. It's more like relationships that I could see happen.
