Goth band?

I've only listened to Nightwish. And I wouldn't consider them to be goth....more like fantasy metal.

Yeah my friend Tanner from Austin, texas say they are from. Its like metal opera.

Hmm... Well, I'm not crazy about goth culture, but I do like some of the arts and music associated with it, to an extent. A few (mostly darkwave) bands to possibly check out:
