It’s been a long time since I’ve seen any of the "Bubblegums", on fan sub VHS, at that, but I really liked them. There are three Bubblegum’s and a couple spinoffs, the prequel A.D. Police, and A.D. Police: To Protect and Serve, neither of which reaches the same level as Bubblegum. Anime on DVD has reviews of A.D. Police. Check out the rest right here.

Madou-King Granzort & Outlanders

Both are from the 80s, have interesting storylines, lots of humor, and great characters.

MKG is a little B-rated, though.
And Outlanders is only a movie (but it's adapted from a manga series).

I never hear of other fans of either of these, and it's too bad...

Rahxephon is underrated... Wish people would understand how good that anime is, the music alone is
great..all people like is naruto and bleach...I am a bleach fan but I watch other anime as well..except naruto.. as for all those other anime you and sweetheart Lilly suggested.. Man oh man they all sound cool, I want to watch them but from where? any good sources? I also need time.. I am currently watching:

I am also rewatching Rahxephon.. I find it hard to believe 80% of AA users have not heard of these.. .. Especially Samurai 7! Is it based of the legendary...AKIRA KUROSAWA'S Black n white Film.. 7 Samurai. Any ANIME fan should watch this!!! Than watch the remake, a version remade through animation titled "Samurai 7"".

Fansubs. if you can use bittorrent, animesuki is the ticket. If not, crunchyroll.com has almost all of the anime I mentioned above with youtube like quality.

Since you liked RahXephon, I might suggest watching Reideen or Yuusha Raideen. Raideen is the series that gave RahXephon most of its inspiration, but as of now, only 3 episodes have been released (it is also quite dated, being released in the mid 70s). Reideen would be more appropriate, being a modern (READ: The 3rd) remake of the original Raideen.

Other stuff to look out (based on your taste on anime as I know it) for include: Gurren-Lagann, Gunbuster and Skull Man. Stuff that I loved but am not so sure you'd enjoy include GaoGaiGar/GaoGaiGar Final, Turn A Gundam and Ideon (If you can't sit through the entire series, just watching the 2 movies will suffice)

- Gintama (also suprised it isn't well talked about eitehr... sure theirs a topic but it isn't that active)
- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion ... when people think mecha people think gundam or eva ... there are plenty of well done mecha's out there and code geass became so popular that sunrise is rewriting the last twwo episodes to allow for a second season.
