I heard about it. dunno much on it though but sth about this Albireo char. who meets this girl whose like a NPC or VAI. Her name's Lycoris, I think, and she looks like Aura. And she's like "turning the rules upside down." or sth.

I have both books. It takes place before .Hack, and even before Aura. The main character Alberio is a admin that works for CC. Corps, and is trying to get rid of this AI, named Lycorice. He first meets her in the Church, but she gets away. And the story goes on about Alberio pretending to be a solo player helping Lycorice get her memory back after she lost it. He meets up with a girl named Hokuto, and finds the secrets to "The World" That's just a cap on it though. It's a lot better than that.
