And besides, there are lots of irrelevent and uneccesary characters in anime. Why hate on Shippo specifically?

I think Shippo is completely useless at times but I won't go that far as to him being killed off. I think that they should make an episode that Shippo finds a village where he could live in and stay there. But knowing that's never going to happen, I don't mind having Shippo here.
