hi!! just wonding i finished the fruits basket amine series and they didn`t tell some things! like the person who is possesed by the spirt of the rooster and that akito is a girl. does anyone know why they didn`t do that???????? did i miss somthing???????

Sometimes when they up a series from the manga version into an Anime, they change things around, like Akito's gender.

Only the manga shows who the Rooster is (his name is Kureno Souma) and that Akito is really a female.

Yeah, manga's and the anime tend to differ some just a little bit some a whole lot. For instance, Mai Hime the anime and the manga are almost completely different. Also they could have left some things off to condense it down into a 26 episode series.

I don't own book 15 or 16 of the manga, but I've read the scans on onemanga.com. I've seen all 26 episodes more than once and they only cover 6 books! These are a few things that should've been in the anime, but were unfairly left out: ("How Rude" of Oakwood Anime) ***SPOILERS*** Akito is really a girl! Tohru and Akito become friends! Sorry...I couldn't help myself!!!
