Didn't you just make an application not even two weeks ago? Listen, you may have experience and a bit of maturity, but still, I think that you need more maturity and more experience. This is a huge board, and it'd be one hell of a board to moderate. Would you be on enough to be active? Would you be able to take the time and post intelligently, thoroughly, and maturly in one topic while still maintaining enough momentum to go from one new topic to the next, not know what you may or may not find? Would you know how to handle something big, like a newbie that is new to the internet and doesn't understand a thing?


I think that you need to experience more, if you are a mod on another board, try and learn the ropes a bit more there, then in a few months make another application. Try and clean up your grammar, too, while you're at it; and next time, make your application longer.

Not the lenght is decisive but the details on why the person actually would make a good moderator. But on the other parts I agree (beside the patiance thing).

I completely agree, it's not all about the length. I just believe that the thought, detail, and explanation put into the post is directly related to the length, that's all that I was implying. In my case, if I see that someone posted a long application, I would think that they were putting thought into it. And usually, that's the case.

I wasn't saying anything against that . It's just, you can also put details into few words, not to less, but not too much either. And a long application does not by force mean the person has put effort into it, he can also beat about the bush and than he has a long application without the interessting facts .
