When I was really really young and my parents dumped me in France with my brother and Grandma for a month, I watched TV and there was this awesome animated series, clearly anime, but dubbed into French.
I didn't really understand it...wrong language for me. here's what I remember:A princess in a tower - guarded by super warriors (18 of them I think!)There seems to be an ongoing rescue mission for her, most rescuers seemed to die in the process. The episode I remember the best, the guardian used roses with poisonous thorns and the champion used a chain to deflect the flowers and beat the guardian only to drown in a sea of roses sent by the next guardian. (Seems I remember that a clock face involved - 17 roses and one spider - counting down the guardians as they were beaten))
I would really love to see this again - does this sound familiar to anyone???
