Alright, I couldn't help myself. I love medieval rps...like...to the max. I'm hoping this will be hardcore literate, not too hardcore literate. But like...more than 2 sentences per post?...okay, I'll just post the rules.

Alright the story is simple and to the point because...I'm just tired of coming up with cool ones, eh? Forgive me.

This story is set in a medieval kingdom (obviously). The King is building an army of the strongest knights and mages to defeat the forces of evil. However, the forces of evil are also building an army, planning to take over the entire kingdom and use it for their purposes.

In a skull-shaped castle far from the good kingdom, Lord Moltiwore and his right-hand man, Draco, were planning a scheme to take control of the world and dominate it. Draco told Moltiwore "I know what we must do. There's an army from the good side battling us soon, so we must form our own army." "That be an excellent idea. " said Lord Moltiwore. So they gathered a bunch of zombie knights into an army to conquer the good side, soon.

Koryu looked around the forest she was in, grumbling to herself. "Stupid old nag died on me." She said, looking back over her shoulder at the horse that was now lying off to the side of the road. "But I suppose it was more that goblin's fault than mine..." She then eyed teh small dead creature lying across from teh horse. "Ah well, better find a place to stay the night." She shrugged, and continued down teh road.

(Couldn't think of anything, so I merely moved my introduction. )

Ivonette sat atop the stone bench by the river's edge, watching as the red and gold leaves floated downstream. Things hadn't been the same between her and her father recently. He no longer came to say goodnight every evening before she retired to sleep. And he no longer dined with her anymore, either. It saddened her, but she knew he was more worried about preparing for the war at the moment, and she was glad the soldiers were keeping her and her people safe. But still, it was disappointing to always be alone.

Leopold sat atop Mabelle, his black steed, as he scanned the areas surrounding the castle. He pulled the hood of his cloak down over his eyes. It wasn't as much a precaution as it was a habit. He didn't like other people to see his eyes. Except for the king, no one had seen them. And he wasn't about to let anyone either.

Koryu reached the edge of teh forest, and saw someone on a large, black horse. She looked up to the castle, and then back at teh man. "hmm... Maybe I should ask for directions?" She mumbled to herself, and pulled her cloak around her. Without seeing her chest, some people had a problem determining her gender. She walked closer to the man to see if he would see her or not.

Leopold pulled up on Mabelle, his mount stopping as he looked at the stranger who approached him slightly. He pulled his hood just down far enough to shade his eyes so they would remain unseen. He dismounted and spoke in a cold voice. He didn't mean to be rude, it's just the way he spoke...to anyone, "Who are you."

[Demyx]

"Who am I? Who are you? Rude, if I've ever seen it. Its usually common courtesy to state your own name first," She smirked, putting her hands on her hips before pulling her braid over her shoulder and tucking it into her belt.

(Hey, I gotta go! I might be on tomorrow or later today, just depends on my parents and the chores they give me tonight. lol. Bye you guys.)

He glared through his unseen eyes for a moment before giving an irritated sigh, "Well, forgive me, miss. I'm merely wondering if your a threat to the kingdom. These are dark times for the King. My name is Leopold."

He trusted no one upon first meeting and he wasn't too sure about this one. Her appearance was mysterious to him indeed. But, he wasn't one to talk, always wearing his dark cape and hood, and never letting anyone see his eyes, for reasons of his own.

"Oi, you got that right. Dark times are all around us. My name is Koryu, by the way, good Leopold." She bowed deeply, sweeping her cloak some dramatically. "Is there a place I could stay near by? I've come a long way."

Leopold looked back at the castle, in thought. He had no idea where she could stay, but he'd have to figure it out. Despite his known unfriendliness towards strangers, he wasn't one to leave a weary traveler with no place to stay. He then looked back at her and sighed, "Well, I don't think you would want to stay with me, as you'd probably feel uncomfortable. But there might be a room at the castle that the princess will let you use."

With that, he moved Mabelle over to her and offered to let her ride his horse, as he was sure she was tired of walking.

Ivonette rose from the stone bench as a servant ran to her quickly. He bowed before speaking in an apologetic tone, "Milady, your father has left the kingdom to hunt down the leader of evil."

She covered her mouth as her eyes widened in shock. This meant she was left to run the country and deal with local affairs all on her own. She'd never even cared for the duties of royalty before now, so she had no idea how to handle them. She looked at the servant with a calmed expression, "Very well. You're dismissed."

He bowed again and left her alone. She sat down again, giving a deep, worried sigh. How this situation would turn out, she wondered.

((Sorry I haven't been on all weekend!))

"Oi, I had a horse once." She said, ignoring the offer as she stretched some. "There were these little gobliny things that killed it this morning." She smiled, and then shook her head. "Oh, and by the way, I've met people far more uncomfortable then you to be around."

Goblins? This made him wonder if he should notify the rest of the guards or not. He raised an eyebrow slightly. He'd never met a girl quite like this before. He nodded and patted Mabelle, who immediately started walking away from them. He then bowed slightly and began towards the kingdom's gate, waiting for her to follow.

((Ah, sorry again! I haven't been able to get on at all this week!))

"So, you worry about the dark times around us?" She asked, sick of any silence that might have loomed as she followed him. It looked as thought she was looking around aimlessly as they walked, but was in fact watching for the mischievious things that lurked in the forest's shadows. "Dark times, indeed, though, huh?"

He nodded just as they passed through the gate and began towards the castle, "Yes, they are. I've sworn myself to his majesty, the king, and his daughter. The queen passed away several years ago by-"

He immediately cut off as his eyes turned to the ground. He waited a few moments before looking at her again, his eyes still protected by the shadow of his cloak, "That is the past. Forgive me, I don't very much like to talk about it, as it's my past as well, not just the royal family's..."

He paused again, then looked up at the trees as the dirt road soon turned to cobblestone and the castle doors came into view, "I do believe you will like the princess. She's rarely seen by the villagers but she's very kind, to my understanding."

"Ah, nobody likes the past, do they? I like many a people, usually without much reason. Everybody deserves the benefit of a doubt, do they not?" She said, nodding as she chuckled. "Though, curiously, what do you mean by to your understanding? Do you not know her very well?"

Leopold stopped and took in a deep breath, turning back towards Koryu, "No. Her father doesn't much allow her to be seen even by his most trusted guards. He's very protective of her."

He turned away and continued on, nodding to the guards by the door as he passed them, entering the castle. The dimly lit hallways were long but he led her only a short walk on the first floor before turning to a set of stairs.
