I don't like the Yankees, I mean you'd think they'd be better since they buy up all the best players and have the largest budget in all of Major League Baseball. I guess money can't get you a world series championship.

The problem is, they have traded for players over their prime or almost at the end of it. They have traded a bunch of prospects away, but now they have young talent within the organization.
Philip Hughes and Joba Chamberlain are going to be all stars in their careers. IN the next few seasons, the yankees are going to win at least 2 world series.
And so what if they havent won a title since 2000?
they already have 26 of them.

There is the fact that the Yankees have made it to the postseason each of the past ten years, won the division, up to this last year, 8 times in a row, and made it to the World Series in 2003, should've been 2004 but the hole in their pitching staff wound up costing them.
