Legend of the Dragoon vs final fantasy 7

I think that Lotd has the best amv and the best characters, of all time for the ps1, Ive played and beatin both games, so Im wondering what game do you think is better.

Everyone knows FF7, so I shan't discuss it.

LoG was 1 of those underlooked games. Frankly the story was cliche, the characters wooden and unlikable, and the voice acting atrocious.

Harpooooooooooon.

Well, it still has some finer points. Excellent graphics and an innovative battle strategy for starters.

lol harpoon was really bad, that and Haschel voice, I not a gamer and never really was, so voice acting and in depth analysis when it comes to games never really came to mind, I just like Lotd better is all.

Kinda like the two equally my self yeah there were some things both games excelled and also weren't so great in but they were great games for their time.

Ah.. the infamous LOD, a clearly underrated game that not many know about. FF7, IMO was crap compared to LOD.

LOD'S unique battle system made it much more interesting than a normal hack n slash rpg, its story line and unique character combined with your dragoons abilities were brilliant. I often wonder what happened to LOD2, got shut down if I remember correctly.

i cant say...i love both games.....i think i lean nore towards FF7....but i cant take nothing away from LotD

LOTD ALL THE WAY. I never played FF7 but I hate Square fan-boys so I'm going with lotd.

The characters were more likeable, imo. Especially Rose, she's so much more appealing than any of the FF7 women. And Haschel reminds me of some older FF characters.

tifa kicks butt
barret is amazing
vincent is one of the best characters in a video game ever
cloud is a pretty boy with problems
sephiroth is a deranged yet amazing bad guy
aerith is the sweet girl that you never expect to die
better storyline in my opinion
i felt like i could play the game for longer the lotd
i like the battle system better
better minigames

there's more but i don't want carpal tunnel lol
