Japanese or English?
Japanese or English?
Do you watch or did you watch beyblade in japanese or in english? And which do you think it's better?
I watched it in english. But I would prolly like it in japanese too. Maybe even better coz I'm staring to think that the japanese dubbing has a much more realistic sound to it.

Re: Japanese or English?
I really dont like the voice and style of the people who dubb...really, it sounds a bit artificiall..I havent seen the japanese version...but I would love to..although I have to say that I have to learn japanese then ^-^
And I really dont understand why tha names are changed in the english version..I think originality is the best !! I mean, its no offense to me..but if Indians can pronounce it in a correct way, then why cant americans ??
Please, Please, my intentions are not bad..please ^-^

Re: Japanese or English?
I've watched most episodes in both and for me originals always beat dubs, but I do like to see both. It's interesting to see how differently western writers approach things...

Re: Japanese or English?
I agree with both of you. I mean everyone can learn to say something.. that's no big deal. Plus the names sound more authentic if they aren't dubbed. I always wondered how non-american ppl in beyblade would sound if they had their original accents. Like f.e. if Enrique would have an italian accent or Robert a german one or Tala a russian one (the last one would be so sexy!!! Russian language is really really sexy esp. when a guy uses it!
).
But on the other hand like Vamoose said it is interesting to see the approach of western writers.. yet I still like originality better.

It would have been cool but sometimes its hard to understand their accent sometimes..Tell you one thing..once an Italian man was on the road asking me for directions and I was small then..say 7, and the way he was speaking kinda surprised me and I ran away from that place..and the boy was confused, so i was ^-^

I haven't seen the show in Japanese, but I have seen it in English and Spanish. I love how Rei and Kai sound in Spanish!
